8 Per Second

8 Per Second (formerly Hydro Static Union)is a hard hitting original rock band. We are a four piece based out of the Chicago Suburbs. Our sound can be described as guitar driven alternative rock with an effected rhythm section. We have been around since 1996 with a variety of different players.

Our current line up includes:
Andrew Spencer - guitar/vocals
Mike Luttrell -guitar/vocals
Artie Carlson - drums/samples
Rod Dillard - Bass guitar

The songs of 8 per second range from moments of serenity to high-end explosive rock. With songs of hope and despair, 8 per second delivers multi level and multi faceted alternative rock.

As for what the band name means:
8 per second- the amount of times sonic wavelengths traverse the ear.
