| Description | Catchy pop melodies, dark lyrics, and twangy overtones make up the force of roots rock that is Brother Lowdown. Brother Lowdown has played at clubs throughout Chicago (including Abby Pub, Schuba's, Martyrs', and many others) and recently completed a successful seven-city East Coast tour. A true songwriters' band, Brother Lowdown manages to craft a sound uniquely its own and move a crowd to the dance floor. The band has released two previous albums - "60-cycle Hum" in 2000 and "Live At The Beat Kitchen" in 2001 - and is recording a new demo in the summer of 2002. |
