Street teams are a great way to break into the music business or just to get free music if you're a music fan. This isn’t a source to find free stuff, however. If you join a street team, you will most likely receive free stuff, but you have to work in return. Granted, to most music fans, the usual responsibilities expected of you won’t really seem like work. Going to shows, passing out flyers, spreading the word to your friends and co-workers about a great new band. For helping spread the word about a label’s artists, you can receive all sorts of goodies, like free CDs, shirts, concert tickets, and more.
