| Description | Who says soul is dead? With influences like Sly and the Family Stone, Parliament, Blind Melon, Erykah Badu, The Meters, The Crusaders, etc. and the veteran talents to throw down a balls-to-the-wall performance, Left Undone begs to differ. And differ they do. What started out as a prepubescent garage band formed in the sixth grade, has evolved into a savvy and innovative music making machine. The kids from Chicago chose Madison, WI as the place to define their musical character. Four years of tireless touring and continuous artistic growth has produced a unit so unmistakably solid that they were named Madison's best band in the 1999 Isthmus reader's poll. After leaving their mark on the Madison music scene, Left Undone recently returned to their Chicago roots to set up camp for the next phase of their adventure to the top of the music world. The band is now touring in support of their newest release, The Uptown Soultel (sept. 98), which is the follow up to their very successful '95 CD, Mama's Pouch. Several tracks from The Uptown Soultel including "Get Away From Here", "Thank You", and "Ain't So Big No More" are receiving radio airplay on stations nationwide. They have also made several prominent national television appearances. They were the winner of Jenny Jones' national talent competition, and were later invited back to appear on the show a second time as Jenny's "sexiest band ever". Just talk to anyone who has seen them play, and you'll hear how Left Undone is on the verge of taking the world by storm.Get on the bus! |
