The Opinion |
|
From the first note played, you knew you were in for a treat when Pistol Whipped hit the stage at The Big Horse Lounge. Instantly, they held the crowd with their high energy performance. Excellent vocals harmonies were provided by Laurie and John Miller, with Laurie adding guitar and John alternating between bass and guitar. Anchoring the band was Shelly Zawadzki on the drums. Their stage presence filled the entire room. Their infectious enjoyment of playing quickly transferred to the audience. The energy traded between the band and audience continued to grow until it reached a fever pitch. The energy level never faltered as they blazed through their set. The music style of Pistol Whipped is hard to pigeonhole. They combine everything from garage punk to rock to jazz to form an amalgam that is truly unique. Suffusing their enormous amount of energy into their distinct sound, this trio puts on a great show that the audience will not soon forget. |
